Project Title: Building Research and Publication Capacity of Emerging Scholars in the Mindanao region of Southern Philippines
Project Leader:  Primitivo III Cabanes Ragandang
Duration: 24 months (starting August 2025)
Salary:  Php 20,110/month
Tentative schedule of interview: August 8, 2025 (morning)

Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • A Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences (preferably with Latin Honours)
  • Prior experience in social science research, with preference for those who have submitted or co-authored a journal article
  • Preferably with experience organizing international workshops and/or collaborating with international scholars
  • Assist the University Researcher in organizing article writing workshops and preparing quarterly project reports
  • Maintain and monitor project schedules, including milestones, deadlines, and minutes of meetings
  • Manage logistical preparations for major project events, in coordination with Project Staff
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment (if needed), ensuring proper documentation and coordination with Project Staff
